Soppy Thank you

Be prepared for a soppy post.

I’m not a soppy person by nature–you’ve read my work–I love to torture my characters, and often think my imagination needs more flowers and butterflies instead of darkness and chains-however, ever since I took the plunge and decided to publish my work, I’ve never felt more a part of any community or friendships as I have with the blogger, reviewer, reader, author networks.

I’m humbled on a daily basis with amazing emails and messages from people liking my work. I’m blown away by the support and generosity from bloggers and brought to soppy happiness at the way most authors stick together and help each other.

I never expected my work to touch anyone. I never expected to become a bestseller or reach the amount of people I have. Every day is a dream and every day people surprise me.

For instance, five wonderful people have been inspired by my work so much, they designed a tattoo based on Tears of Tess. I don’t think any author can have such a high accolade than a fan loving their words and story so much they’re inspired to ink it permanently on their skin.

One such tattoo has just arrived in my inbox from a very special lady who has gone above and beyond for me with swag making, emails, beta reading, and just generally being an amazing cheerleader. I didn’t know she was doing this but I have to say for the first time in my life I was speechless. I won’t say who this is unless she wants to claim the fame, but I HAD to share this amazing tattoo with you all.

Thank you to each and everyone of you. Thank you for supporting me. Thank you for making my dream come true. Thank you for loving my work. Thank you for allowing my words to touch you, inspire you, and capture a part of your mind.

YOU make writing all worthwhile and know that every word I type is because of your love and support.
