I glowered at him.
He glowered at me.
Our eyes never unlocked as he curled his hands, and I fought my trembles.
“Your judgement is thick enough to choke me,” he snarled, all while his eyes roamed over my bound and prone body. “Stop it.”
I squirmed in the cuffs, cursing him, hating him to the depths of everything unholy. “You stop it. I’m only judging you on what you’ve done. Stop this. All of this. Let me go.”
“You know I can’t do that.”
“Then stay back. Don’t touch me again.”
“Again?” His eyebrow quirked. “I haven’t done a damn thing to you…yet.”
“Ha!” I coughed with rancid disbelief. “Are you forgetting—”
“I forget nothing.”
“You’re an animal,” I spat.
He didn’t deny it. Instead, he prowled closer, sleek and powerful, unruffled and monstrous. “I’m not an animal.”
“A beast then.”
“Try again.”
My chin came up as he crowded me where I swayed bound and helpless in the centre of the room. “Touch me and I’ll make your life a living nightmare.”
His large, strong hand cupped my jaw.
I froze as his fingers feathered up my cheek and around my nape. “You’ve already made my life a nightmare.” He shuddered as if he couldn’t control the hungry beast snarling in his gaze. “Try a different threat.”
Words flew away. All I could see was his smoky grey eyes. Heavy lidded, magnetic, hypnotic, demonic. “You do this, and you’re a rapist.”
He wrenched back. Shutters slammed over his cruel, devastatingly handsome face. “Wrong.” Grabbing my hair with both hands, he pulled me forward until our mouths grazed. His minty breath came short and fast as he hissed against my lips, “I’m a sadist…not a rapist. And today, I’m going to show you the difference.”
