WHERE THE HELL HAVE I BEEN IN 2025?
Well, I’ve been writing.
A lot.
But…I’ve been writing books that I’m not planning on releasing any time soon so…I’m a bit behind. HOWEVER, I’m currently smashing out a book that I’m obsessed with that I will be releasing in January 2026!
I don’t have a blurb yet but this is the cover and title. Preorders etc will be coming in a few weeks!
I’ll be doing a separate blog post all about this upcoming release so watch this space.
The rest of 2025 there wasn’t much to report on. I had my mother in law stay for two months at the start of the year, been clearing the paddocks from a lot of fallen trees thanks to unusually strong winds, and doing my best to fill that creative well so I can go into the new year full of ideas, words, and characters.
The good news is, I feel like 2025 was a little of an ‘all over the place’ year but 2026 is already sharper, exciting, and brimming with possibilities which means, I have SO much coming out! I really want to share names and details of the books I’m working on but I’m not going to as I don’t want to over promise and under deliver. Let’s just say, I currently have six to eight releases planned for 2026 so I’ll be busy and you’ll probably get sick of me.
Meanwhile, things are good on the farm. Little Mo, the bunny, is 8 years old and going on 4 with how incredible he is. Still has his 3 hour paddock walks, still scolding the local wild bunnies, still hanging with the ducks, hedgehogs and keeping me on track with my word count.
The horses are good, just retired at this point as I haven’t been riding much due to working.
I miss travelling but with little Mo being special needs, we’ve made the decision not to leave him for his health’s sake.
What else can I fill you in on?
Oh, the book I’m writing currently is one of my FAVES. I’m having SO much fun and the words are pouring out of me. I’ve missed this feeling and have noticed that when I’m following my muse, my fingers do the flying for me and it takes no effort to create stories that I genuinely adore. I truly hope that comes across in the new year when I start releasing some of them!
